The Brazilian butt lift (BBL) is the second most popular cosmetic surgery in the US today. This procedure is also known as buttock reshaping, buttock augmentation, or buttock fat transfer. The butt lift procedures involves a 2 in 1 surgery where liposuction is first performed using a power assisted device. The fat is collected in a sterile container, purified, and then carefully reinjected into the buttocks and hips to create a larger buttock dome and curved hips.

The typical Brazilian butt lift involves a high definition 360 degree liposuction around the abdomen waist and back also call a Snatched Waist. This provides ample fat to use for buttock enlargement as well as the ability to tighten and “snatch” the waist.

Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) results for butt enlargement and augmentation are immediate. You will see a tighter midsection, with the butt and hip area appearing larger, rounder, and fuller. The Brazilian butt lift procedure takes approximately 1 to 2 hours to perform. A Brazilian butt lift begins with liposuction- removal of excess fat. The fat is transferred and injected into the buttocks. Most patients take one to two weeks off of work to recover. Taking more time off work maybe required your job is strenuous.

Combining a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) with Lipo 360° liposuction is a very popular surgical combination. Pre and Post BBL Surgery

When preparing for pre- and post-BBL surgery, it’s essential to maintain a healthy lifestyle before and after surgery. Eating well and not smoking are key factors in achieving a successful outcome. If you have any medical conditions, your primary care doctor may require preoperative testing or evaluation before you are cleared for surgery. On average, approximately 70% of the injected fat remains long-term. Most patients will need 1-2 weeks off work for recovery and approximately 1-2 months to return to the gym. Fat transplantation is done under complete general anesthesia in a fully licensed outpatient surgery center. The procedure takes approximately 2-3 hours to complete, depending on the number of areas being treated through liposuction.

Butt Augmentation using Silicone Implants has a 30-40% complication rate as in less than 1% complication rate with (BBL) Fat Transfer when fat is placed in the superficial fat layer and not intramuscular.
