CORRECTING COOLSCULPTING IRREGULARITIES
While CoolSculpting remains popular, the treatment can come with the risk of developing several complications like a rare but significant complication is known as Paradoxical Adipose Hyperplasia (PAH).
Dr. Yang does not offer the CoolSculpting procedure in his practice because of this, instead using safer surgical methods for achieving body contouring results. He does however provide treatments for complications from CoolSculpting.
Generally after a CoolSculpting procedure, PAH usually appears 3-6 months after treatment, symptoms appearing are fat bulges that resemble the approximate shape/size of the handpiece that was used for the treatment. DIET AND EXCERCISE DOES NOT CURE THE PAH COMPLICATION.
Treating PAH is difficult and often only successful when using VASER LIPO to treat this condition due to hardening and difficulty in removing the stimulated fat cells. In extreme cases of PAH, along with body liposuction using ultrasound-assisted (VASER LIPO) board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Bennett C. Yang can surgically remove excess fatty tissues in places like the abdomen in a tummy tuck 360 procedure.
